Shivanna was handcrafted in Makassar in 2011 by the traditional boat builders of Bugis heritage, who are famed for their maritime woodworking skills. In that same year, the vessel was purchased and renovated by an Italian Architect named Sergio Supino who refitted the vessel to entertain his high-end clientele.
After Sergio left Indonesia in 2019, the vessel was acquired by PT LaGaligo and refitted with the intention of serving the rapidly growing premium hospitality market that we recognise today in Bali.
